This game was created in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 41 compo.

The Theme:  3 rul........

combine 2 incompatible genres :|

It was my first time participating in the jam, and it was both very frustrating and fun. I restarted the game three times, unable to pick an idea that was any good thanks to the theme. I ended up creating a game largely based on my idea for a not chosen theme,  3 rules. I ended up creating that game, and added tiny questions in between to add an incompatible genre to my puzzle platformer.

You can find the source code for the game at the google drive link at on the Ludum Dare page.

Controls:

  • Click buttons with mouse
  • Restart a level with the R key
  • Move around via WASD or arrow keys
  • Shift between different rulers using the numbers 1, 2, and 3. 1 refers to the tallest ruler, 2 refers to the medium ruler, and 3 refers to the smallest ruler.

I liked the concept you started to create and would love to see more of this developed.  The game-play felt similar to "Thomas Was Alone".  Good submission!

good job!

link this ld entry for i vote.

Well you did it gj. My suggestions are to add a mute button cause the music loop is infuriating, and the game can be easily beat with ruler number #3. Other than that Nice job for such a short time.
